I’m not your typical accountant—and, truthfully, I never have been.

Over the past 30+ years, I’ve helped businesses navigate change, grow sustainably, and fall in love with their numbers. I’ve built ventures from scratch, turned chaos into clarity, and helped business owners create systems that run without them—so they can step back, breathe, and grow with confidence.

Before all of that, I was a child who lived and breathed horses. I spent over 20 years as a competitive showjumper, and it shaped everything about me—my resilience, my work ethic, my ability to stay calm under pressure, and my unshakeable belief that you always get back up. That mindset became my anchor.

In my teens, life took an unexpected turn when our family business closed suddenly. It was a challenging time and I had to grow up quickly. I juggled multiple jobs while studying full-time, determined to stay on track—and to keep pursuing the things I loved. That experience gave me a deep respect for financial stability and planted the seed for a career in accounting. I

didn’t just want to crunch numbers—I wanted to help people build businesses that were

strong, secure, and built to last.

Since then, I’ve worked across a huge range of industries, from trades to tech, creative to corporate. I’ve built multiple businesses of my own—including an award-winning wedding venue—which gave me a deep, hands-on understanding of what it takes to balance creativity with commercial success. In recent years, I’ve focused on mentoring wedding

business owners and creatives, helping them build something sustainable, profitable, and aligned with the life they want.

Early in my career, I was nicknamed “The Bubbly Accountant”—a name that stuck, bringing warmth, energy, and genuine care to every business I touch. I make finance feel human. I make systems feel achievable. And I believe strategy should empower you—not overwhelm you.

These days, I spend my time mentoring founders, speaking at events, and collaborating on purposeful ventures that combine heart, smarts, and scalability. And when I’m not doing that—you’ll find me being a mum to three incredible kids, walking in

the country, or dreaming up the next idea that might just change everything.
